Gregory Cuny
Gregory Cuny is Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in the Department of Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Houston. His research interests focus on developing compounds that can be used to study pathophysiology and to establish new therapeutic strategies. He has co-authored more than 160 peer-reviewed manuscripts and is an inventor on more than 60 issued US patents. He earned a PhD in organic chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After nine years in industry, he moved to Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School for eleven years. He joined the University of Houston in 2012.
